FROM DATA TO INSIGHT

From your business problem to the model’s purpose.

A model’s value starts with the decision it supports. We consider device behaviour and weather data alongside the prediction target and evaluation method.

HOW WE WORK

Clear scope. A measurable approach.

We consider the problem, the data and the evaluation method within one framework.

  1. Needs and scope

Agree the business problem, expected output and boundaries of the project.

  2. Data assessment

Examine data sources, quality and suitability for the work.

  3. Model and evaluation

Build the analytical or predictive approach and assess it against agreed criteria.

  4. Delivery and next steps

Clarify the outputs, intended use and any further work together.

Meet Korvuslab

Our work in agriculture and information technology addresses concrete business problems through data. Failure prediction using device anomaly data and meteorological forecasting are two important areas of our project experience.

Our multidisciplinary approach brings together IT, software and electronics. We consider where data comes from, the purpose of the model and the conditions in which its outputs will be used.

STARTING A PROJECT

Before the first conversation.

Where do we start a data project?

First, we identify the business decision you want to support. Then we assess available data sources, expected outputs and the scope of the work together.

What data is needed for failure prediction?

We have worked with device anomaly data. For a new project, existing device records, the prediction target and data suitability are assessed together; this determines whether the data is sufficient.

How is meteorological forecasting scoped?

We consider the target variable, forecast horizon and available meteorological data together. Model scope and evaluation criteria are agreed for each project.
